Walk the plank or do a plank.

YES...I did my planks challenge on The Phoenix!! Brian and I sailed from Wareham to Hadley Harbor (just around from Woods Hole) on Sat.  It took us 3 and a half hours. The weather was spectacular. So shame on me, I don't have the photos. Check back OR you can go onto www.lifeafterbagels.com/blog. Morgan posted a picture of me on Brian's sailboat. I'm doing a side plank (not my favorite), but it had to be done. My shoulder has been bothering me so I am backing down on the amount of time I hold the plank this week.
We had to motor sail home yesterday (3 hours) and it was FREEZING! BUT...I did run 6 miles; sea legs and all! Yes, it had to be done.

Beer update: Brian is now popping open his home brew honey wheat. It is delicious. I wasn't crazy about the Irish Red Ale. Now, we're waiting the the IPA to be ready. The brewery is in his garage.

  1. And I repeat... Jill, you are my hero!

That pic of you doing the side plank is awesome. I have been looking at pics and videos of side planks today because I have struggling so much with them (right side in particular) that I thought I must be doing it incorrectly.. You look incredible! And I am posting a link to that pic on my blog today too.

I want to be able to refer to it and get inspired.

Glad you had a good weekend... sorry about the shoulder.

Yeh, motorsailing. We end up doing it often cause I am always in a hurry!
