Last week is a dream (me in a sea of runners over the Tower Bridge) but tomorrow is reality. Tim took this pic as he was piloting overhead for BA. This past week was up and down with emotions. No one understands but my running friends.
Here comes tomorrow and we are ready.
This time my legs will wait and my heart will weep but with joy, as friends and brother Stu will cross the famous finish line, that I've crossed twice.
*****My Shout Out!
Stu, Dave (DZ), Phyllis, James, Susan, Rachael, Kyria, Dayna & Steve, Greg.
This time tomorrow you will be celebrating:)
Robbie (Gina and John's friend from VA), will join us with Cindy and girls, sister in law Anne and others.
John is already lining me up for a Team Collier # as MIT is close to my heart because of dad. Yup...I'm going to try again. I've worn my Collier shirt in a few races and already has coffee and dirt stains.
Life goes on but we don't forget. Hazy maybe, but our love for this sport and our friends and family who band together is stronger than ever. I've come a long way since I began my running journey in 1996. And I'm still moving. Just slower.
Thank you everyone who sent me cards, texts, emails, FB messages, and fed me after my London trip. Means so much to me.
I welcome tomorrow. I'll pull through.
You have no idea.
Cheerio London.
