Carrie and I had a blast in Webster, MA at the Sherox tri. Now that I know what to expect, I am totally swimming next year. It was really cool being with a great crowd and fabulous athletes. Carrie did great swimming and I loved riding my new road bike. WHAT a diiference from racing with a hybrid bike!!! We placed 9th out of 14....I placed 9th in the bike (KICK BUTT course) and placed 3rd in the run!!!! Too bad there wasn't any prize money.
Anyway, I'm still recovering from an extremely challenging bike course....major hills. My achilles is acting up in the back of my calf. I took an extra day off this week. I can't believe the marathon is 5 weeks a way!!
Saturday....20 miler coming up!
