My #SkirtSports 13er with Sonya in Louisville.
Did someone say hot and hilly?
I did it so there AND my foot held up thanks to #Altrarunning #Olympus1.5 trail shoe.
Go a half size up or full if you choose try these.
A week later, a very steep climb on Vail Pass. I said to Steve.....REALLY???? Do you think I'm in the Tour de France??!! My knee freaked out (and so did I), because an old knee injury (circa 2002) flared up, but I rode to the top and FLEW down (pic was taken on Copper Mountain).
June was also about a run meet-up with #OutdoorDiva gals. So much fun as I got to test a pair of HokaOneOne's and try on other pairs. Of course, I'm sporting a new trucker hat, which I love!
Can you guess that machine on my hat??
Sonya and I also did some hiking in Chautaqua Park, mainly climbing up to Flat Irons. Some of the trails were quite rocky and my foot wasn't happy, but we kept climbing. Three miles was all but good enough to get the heart rate up. All those rocks?? Yes we walked across it, which is called a scree.
The b/w pic below is me looking straight up a Flat Iron. Majestic.
JULY 8th....Boston Bound!!
What is the first thing I do? Sign up for a trail race of course. Sponsored by DownEast Cider and SlumBrew beer, located in Somerville, MA. So many new things popping up around Boston area.
Playing Catch Up shall continue.....later:)
Hmmm Sasquatch
