Ending 2015 with a Polar Dip and Dash

Running: 957 (A lot of trails, thanks to living in CO)
Biking (mainly at high elevation: 364.50 (Thanks to Steve)
Hiking/Walking: A lot
Tabata/Pilates: Decent Amount

I still love cookies, cupcakes, and hot fudge sundaes. I still love drinking wine and vodka tonics with a lime. I still LOVE pizza and Italian food and hamburgers and french fries. THIS will never change.

So, I'm leaving off this year without making the big number of miles as in my past, but grateful to be back running. It's that simple. I dealt with Dr's, I disappointed people, I inspired people,  I traveled, I moved, I made new friends, said goodbye to other friends, started a new job, moved AGAIN, but through it all, I tried to be my best me.  I did the best I could.

Thanks to my friends and family who loved me through it all (and spoiled me a little too).
Here's to 2016 and new adventures to come. No pictures, but just a bunch of my favorite sayings:

(That quote is from the movie, Dead Poets Society)

-Cherish good friends and family.
-Kindness is free.
-Share stuff because you WANT to!!
-Be silly and if someone doesn't like it, then they don't belong in your posse.
-Keep smiling and laughing (and it's ok to cry).
-One never knows what someone may be battling behind closed doors.
-Empathy: Learn it/Be it/Do it
-Be the light for someone who may need it.
-Write down what brings you joy.
-Saying "no" is okay, it's the other persons problem if they don't like it.
-Stay away from drama. Do not get involved!
-If something doesn't feel right, it's not.
-Be positive: Flip negativity around.
-DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU!

Thanks for stopping by.
You know where to find me.
PEACE
OUT
