Hangin' in There Thursday

The final lap is here. November seems like a fog with my move and everything else in my brain that I'm trying to settle out.

November miles were 103.
My miles should have been closer to 110-115, but my hamstring and piriformis was acting up. I could not get it together and I was able to let it go. I'm realizing that it's not the end of the world, after what I dealt with with my feet for over a year. I'm grateful to move.

Here are some of my stretches/exercises I do:

New England's weather has been terrific and it's COLD!! I love hats and this one was gift a from Steve from a ski shop in Frisco, CO. The brand is called Chaos. I love how it fits perfectly on my head with all my hair!! I've been lightening my hair a tad with a few extra streaks.
Change is good, but only a little at a time for me.

Been running a lot in this concrete jungle and love the Saugus/Malden/Everett rail trail. It's mostly paved but there are some gravel parts too. Can see the Mystic River bridge at a distance heading into Everett, but that picture was taken during my Turkey Trot 5k in Chelsea, supporting the high school track and field team.

I'm learning to stop and look at things around me more. I feel that I can repeat the same route and still see new things along the way. The Tobin Bridge (aka Mystic) as seen on my run, is a view I don't typically see from this side. It is very cool and the picture doesn't do it justice (Admiral Hill, Chelsea, MA).

I'm signing off with this saying, something to think about:

.....you just may not know it.

Upcoming races:
Winter Classic 5K - Cambridge, MA
Frosty Half Marathon - Raynham, MA (sponsored by The Colonial Runners)
