On
our way!
On our way home!
I think my leg is too high...LOL
Cleveland Ledge.
The entrance to the Cape Cod Canal.
On our sail to Hadley's, we got up to 8 knots...briefly. Had a few windy gusts, with a little heeling...UGH!
On our way home, we froze but the sun was bright, and we had to motor sail. I'm soooo happy that I wasn't sea sick! Brian attempted to fish while steering. I took over a few times, but that's ok. He didn't catch anything.
It was wonderful to lounge on the boat and read and have apps and drinks. We couldn't believe how many boats were coming into the harbor. Thankfully, we got a good place to anchor. Brian is such a pro. He BBQ'd steaks (garlic and onion marinade) and 'taters....another round of drinks, but soon, I was off to La-La land listening to the Bruins game (they lost). As much as I am NOT a sailor, once we get to our destination, it truly is relaxing:) I think others would go bonkers. My teaching job is stressful enough, so I appreciate 'lounging'.
Bruins update: 8-1!!!! Last night at the Garden!! I feel badly about Nathan Horton (Horton Hears a Who). Hopefully, he will make a healthy recovery.
Love the pics. Glad you had a fun weekend. I hate heeling too.
ReplyDeleteFelt so badly for NH when he got hit last night. We are cheering for Boston, too. The Big Z played his jr hockey where we used to live and I remember when he first arrived... could hardly skate and was so skinny!
Planks for me tomorrow.
Oh my love the pics and planks on the boat!!!
