Cupid is taking a pass on me this year but that's ok. Today, I have wonderful school children who think I am full of "heart", along with my parents and friends (sorry to be a Jillie "Not-So-Jolly"....this too shall pass).
The beauty of this day was when chocolates and cards made it to my table with big smiles and hugs. I look at these little faces with big hearts and am grateful. Teaching is a tough job, and at the end of the day, going for a run makes me smile (and my heart).
Running takes a "big heart" too, and that is all of the blood pumping and circulating in and around our special muscle. My special muscle helps my body (and mind). My heart and brain help me to be the best person I can be.
Running at any distance, no matter how fast or slow, means your special muscle is moving and helping you through good days and the "not so good" days.
I had some wonderful pics that I "borrowed" from other bloggers and STILL, I can not upload.
So picture this:
- Your heart with wings
- Your heart with sneakers on the road, trail, treadmill....
- Your heart lifting weights...doing yoga.....
- Your heart smiling
Wherever you may be, whoever you may be helping, whoever you may be hugging.....
a kind heart goes A LONG WAY!
