Marathon Training began, in between BBQ's/Fireworks and other such stuff!

 The team, our 4th yr to run Take the Lake, with all of the proceeds going to The New England Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. Mitch and Max would be proud...we miss you!! In the pic, we're missing my bro, Phil (who cycled in the 25 miler) and Anne and Stefi.  Larissa was moving into her Boston digs.

We're not looking too badly after a day of partying and swimming at Ellen's.

 

 

 

 

What do we love besides eating with our family and friends? Drinking of course, (wine and beer, AND just about anything, including strawberry shots). Filled with coconut rum or choc liquor, we simply can't resist! We knew we had the cancer race the next day, but we were having too much fun. Howard was filling those strawberries as fast as we could down one and eat it! Topped with whipped cream...yum....DEEEE-lighful (thankfully I got a run in that morning). I DO have 2 marathons coming up in Oct. Shoot me now!

July 4th...a blast with neighbors...sweat and sparkled, but you know that already.

 

And finally, I don't have a pic of another dear friend, but....was so HAPPY to see my best, childhood friend Kippy this past weekend (Karen left on Friday).  Kippy (Phyllis - super pretty Tom boy) lives in FLA with her hubby and children. She gave me a pep talk. I listened, laughed, and woke up. Thanks Phyll.
