So let me just share some pics and move on.
Karen and I on our way on the Tube!
Now THAT'S my girl....Karen had bubbly for us at the finish. Really happy to have a friend there. Told her not to move from greeting area Z!! And she didn't move!!!
Mitchell and Max helped me get through this one and I choked up at the finish.
So many charities!! It was a sea of charity runners, and the road was packed but wonderful crowd support and scenery.
Mitch and Max....on my bib.

I was cold but not for long. Got up to 60 degrees. I was cramping a bit but pushed forward and elbowed a few along the way. Doesn't anyone get 'personal space'???? Water bottles at the water stations??? A lot of tripping and head ducking while I kept running and bottles being thrown off to the side.
Anyway.....a smiling gal after passing The Palace (Queen was home, Union Jack flying).
Wished her kids and hubby John were there!
One size fits all finishers tee shirt. Really??
This was the best costume runner!! His kids were so cute helping dad get through the crowd:)
4:45:29 finish....no idea placement. Done I'm happy.
A few extra pics....
Grovesnor Park statue. Cool!! Right across the street, Karen and I ate lunch at a cafe that was once the chemist (pharmacist) for Queen Victoria.
My journey home wearing a favorite shirt!! Glad and tired and now a much needed rest and a few drinks are in order. Celebration a must! But first today.......
Now this....
Boston a year later....today.
I'll remember and in time it will be hazy.
I'm sorry for those we lost and those who were physically wounded, emotionally scarred too. Worse than me, yet all of us suffer through our own trauma.
We need to help each other, and I'm grateful for it and to give it.

I will be at the finish line. I will be there to celebrate my brother Stuart finishing this time and to the rest of my friends crossing the finish....here's to all of you.
