Last night, Carrie, Nancy, Julie (HOORAY...her first race!!) and I ran the Louise Rossetti 5K. This is an all women race, and broke a record for the second largest all women's race in New England. Louise was there, and it was her 90tieth birthday! The race is in memory of her daughter, who died tragically many years ago. Anyway, it was a beautiful night and the weather was terrific.
Nancy paced Julie, while Julie huffed and puffed with her IPOD entertaining all of us running nearby:) she conquered it and had a strong finish!!!

Carrie, Brian, and I are doing the Warrior Dash (GOD help me...LOL), on June 25th. I guess I'll be out shopping for gloves and knee pads this week!
It will be quite an adventure, to say the least. School is over on June 24th....Warrior Dash in Amesbury, MA the next day!!
Anyone out there ever do the Warrior Dash? Any tips?
